Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FolderFeed, available at https://www.folderfeed.com (the “Service”). By signing in to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Oleg Burlaca, a sole proprietor operating under the brand FolderFeed (“FolderFeed”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Contact: [email protected]

2. What FolderFeed is

FolderFeed is a browser-based productivity application for people and teams who use Google Drive. It presents the activity of the Google Drive folders you choose to monitor (file updates and comments) as a feed. Each file is listed once, only activity since you last marked a folder as “Read” is shown, and you can filter by user and see highlights for new comments and assignments.

FolderFeed does not sync automatically. You decide when to fetch new updates by clicking “Sync”, and you empty a folder’s feed by clicking “Mark as read”.

FolderFeed is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. “Google” and “Google Drive” are trademarks of Google LLC.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old, and legally able to enter into a binding agreement, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
  • You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information and comply with Google’s own terms for the Google account and Google Drive data you connect.

4. Google permissions and your data

To work, FolderFeed asks you to grant read-only access to certain Google data (such as your basic profile and email, Drive file and folder metadata, comments, Drive activity, and contacts/people information for activity participants). FolderFeed only reads this data; it does not modify or delete your Google Drive files.

Access is temporary. FolderFeed uses short-lived Google access tokens that are obtained while you are signed in, and does not receive a long-term “refresh” credential. You can revoke FolderFeed’s access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Data used to render your feed is stored in your browser on your device. Because of this, using FolderFeed on a second device or browser does not synchronize your feed state (for example, which folders are marked as read) with the first. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

You retain all rights to your Google Drive content. We claim no ownership of it, and we only access it as needed to provide the Service to you.

5. Subscriptions, pricing and payment

  • Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Current plans, prices and included features are shown on our pricing page. A free trial may be offered; if so, its length and conditions are shown at sign-up or checkout.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (for example, monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose) until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method.
  • You can cancel at any time through the customer portal link provided by Paddle (see below) or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. We do not provide partial-period credits except as stated in our Refund Policy.
  • We may change prices or plans. Changes will not affect your current billing period, and we will give reasonable notice before a change applies to your next renewal.

Paddle as Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders made through the Service. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, applicable sales taxes/VAT, and payment-related customer support. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Terms and Conditions for Buyers and Paddle’s Privacy Policy. FolderFeed does not collect or store your payment card details.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law or of Google’s terms and policies;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ data, or our systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by reverse engineering, overloading, or automated scraping beyond normal use of the application;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission;
  • use the Service to access Google Drive data you are not authorized to access; or
  • use the Service to infringe the rights of others or to distribute malware or unlawful content.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own internal purposes, in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the Service without obligation to you.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how it is used. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on third-party services (including Google APIs, Firebase, and Paddle), whose availability, limits, or changes may affect it. We may modify, add, or remove features, and we will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect paid plans.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, cancel your subscription as described above, and revoke Google access from your Google Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and handle any prepaid but unused subscription period fairly (for example, by a pro-rata refund).

To request deletion of the account-related data we hold about you, email [email protected]. See the Privacy Policy for details.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the feed will be complete, error-free, or timely; activity data is provided by Google APIs and may be delayed, incomplete, or subject to Google’s own limits. You are responsible for verifying anything important directly in Google Drive.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law that cannot be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice (for example, in the app or by email). Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
